Hello! I'm Sarah and I am the owner of Heritage Consulting STL and founder of In the Waiting, A Christian Birth and Bereavement Collective. I have been a doula since 2010. I believe in family centered, caring, evidence based, individualized support, and ensure both parents are active in all decisions and experiences.
I focus on providing support, empowerment, advocacy, and education, to nurture families through their preconception journey into birth, and through the fourth trimester.
I specialize in in-hospital birth, high risk birth, VBAC, birth after infertility or loss, and bereavement; but I offer my services to all women and families across the Saint Louis metro area.
As an accomplished doula with over a decade of specialized training including Stillbirthday, PAILAdvocate, Maternal Mental Health NOW, Bebo Mia, Birth Monopoly, and Evidence Based Birth; and experience assisting several hundred families, my goal is to give you and your family the attention, support, and knowledge you need to make informed decisions on your unique journey.
I am a loss mom and a rainbow mom myself after primary and secondary infertility, so I pull from my own knowledge, experience, and training, as a doula and as a mother, to better assist the families I serve.

Classes offered:
Childbirth education, newborn care, biologically normal infant sleep, attachment/gentle parenting, and bereavement intensive for professionals and lay persons
