My name is Taylor Cipicchio, owner and birth doula at Taylored to You Doula Services. I am a Christian, holistic-minded doula who approaches birth as a physiological, spiritual, and natural event. I support families through early prenatal support, labor and birth, and postpartum. I am a mother of two, wife to my college sweetheart, amateur gardener, adventure enthusiast, health-focused, and holistic-minded individual, and I am eager to be your birth doula!
It was through my first pregnancy and birth that I realized how the support and education for parents surrounding childbirth were and still are greatly needed and overlooked. Although I felt I had self-educated properly during my first pregnancy, I realized how many gaps in my knowledge at the time surrounding birth I truly had. I became further motivated to formally educate and spread awareness on the importance of education and support during childbirth.
As your doula, I strive to prepare, inform, and educate you and your partner so that you feel confident and well-informed going into labor and birth. I support your desires surrounding your birth and help you both prepare and plan for birth and the unexpected challenges that may arise. I believe childbirth is a natural and physiological rite of passage, and I work with couples to understand how women's bodies are intuitive and equipped to birth. I work with couples on how we can support mom's to birth their baby confidently, listening to her body. I foster a relationship built on trust with couples to feel like a team walking into labor and birth.
