Hello, my name is Mandie Schoemehl! I'm so grateful to introduce myself & In Bloom STL, offering postpartum doula support as well as prenatal & postnatal yoga for the St. Louis metro area. I’m excited to share more about the passion that fuels my work.
I am a Registered Nurse specializing in prenatal & postpartum care. I have almost 20 years of experience in nurturing and supporting expectant families. (wow- does that make me sound old?) I’ve devoted most of my career to working at one of our local St. Louis hospitals as a Clinical Nurse & Outreach Coordinator. Over the last few years, I’ve felt a gentle tug toward helping expectant parents navigate their beautiful (& sometimes wild) transition to parenthood outside of a clinical setting. My growing desire to offer authentic, compassionate in-home support inspired me to pursue a certification as a Postpartum Doula through Childbirth International, while my love for yoga led me to become a Certified Prenatal Yoga Instructor.
I aspire to help you find calm amidst the busyness of life, allowing you to reconnect with your innate intuition, offering a chance to embrace parenthood with a sense of peace, a confident heart, and resilience (or to just get some sleep or help with the dishes). My hope is to lend a comforting hand and a listening ear during this exciting and sometimes overwhelming time. Since every journey is unique, I align my services with your individual needs.
