Hi, I’m Jacquelyne Livengood — Owner, Founding Doula, Mentor, and Certified Birth & Postpartum Doula at Wild Roots Birth Collective.
My love for birth work began when I was just 18, apprenticing as a midwifery student and birth assistant long before I even knew what a “doula” was. That calling never left me. Over the years, my passion for midwifery and birth has shaped the deeply rooted, holistic support we now offer at Wild Roots Birth Collective.
My journey to motherhood came with many challenges. I’m a mama to six beautiful children. My first four were born at home with a midwife, while my last two births led me through unexpected complications and cesareans. Along the way, I’ve faced hemorrhaging, preterm labor, large babies, multiple miscarriages, and moments where I felt unseen and unheard. Those experiences left me with the deep desire to make sure no other mama had to go through birth & postpartum alone.
Wild Roots Birth Collective is in the process of becoming Missouri Medicaid-approved. We can bill any insurance provider that covers birth or postpartum doula services, and we also accept HSA, FSA, and flexible payment plans to ensure support is accessible to every family.
We proudly serve the St. Louis & Surrounding Areas — Jefferson, Madison, St. Francois, Franklin, Washington, and Iron Counties
