I usually take 1-2 client per month. If I am booked for the month that you are due, I will help you find another doula who would support the choices you are making for your upcoming birth.

Here's more about my qualifications/experience:

I am a mother (2 girls), wife, RN, Certified Doula and Doula trainer. My hospital background is in pediatrics, operating room and obstetrics. I have taught childbirth and infant care classes for more than 25 years. Doula work has been in my life for the last 6 years.

I believe a birthing woman and her partner will benefit from the emotional and physical support of a doula during labor and birth. I can be your advocate and be helpful in carrying out your birth plan.

Here's more about my doula practice:

My practice covers all the St. Louis area, including St. Charles and St. Peters. I take 1-2 clients a month (if I am not available I will help you find a doula that will meet your needs.) I meet with you for a prenatal visit, to discuss your birth plan and for us to get to know each other. I support you in labor and birth, I will also help you with the first breastfeeding, if that is your choice. I will visit within 2 weeks after the birth. I give each of my mothers a story of the birth of their child.

I have a backup doula for the times I am unavailable. I can offer private childbirth classes and bellycasting if desired.
