Here's more about my qualifications/experience:

I have received my doula training at a DONA approved workshop at Barnes-Jewish Hospital and I am on staff at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital as a doula. Through attending births and experiencing the births of my own three daughters I have gained a greater understanding about birth and the journey through motherhood. I recognize pregnancy as a wonderful transformation and not an illness. As your doula, I will draw on my knowledge and experience to offer guidance, support, information and advocacy. I am also a Certified Lactation Counselor.

A Gentle Birth is a birth doula practice; childbirth specialists, located in the St. Louis and Metro East area. We are utterly committed to support physically and emotionally our moms and their partners during labor and delivery.

We recognize birth as a lifelong memorable event. It is our goal to help make this event one in which moms feel in control, well informed, fearless, comfortable, respected, and empowered.

We accomplish this with continual care, encouragement, and use of effective labor and birthing positions, massage, relaxation, acupressure, breathing, music, and movement, as well as many other modalities on an individual basis.
