Annie Hill
Located in Shiloh IL, Annie has strong relationships with Memorial Hospital, Memorial East, and St. Elizabeth's Hospital. She also serves families on the west side of the river but is local for those who are near or stationed at Scott Air Force Base.
Annie has been a Postpartum Doula since 1985 and a Birth Doula since 2006. She certified with Madriella in 2010 and was a founding member of the Madriella Advisory Board and its leader until her end of term in January 2020. Now the Founding member of Mattie Marie Traditional Birth Support, she looks forward to the pandemic being over so she can responsibly train Doulas in a hands-on manner again.

Blessed to serve families as a Traditional Birth Attendant in Nevada and with the Amish in Kentucky and Southern Illinois, she brings her skills to her Doula clients in the Greater St. Louis area in order to help them have low intervention first births or even VBACs.
A believer in the benefits of Vaccinations, and in personally wearing a mask in public as mandated by her state's Governor, she firmly believes that the well-being of the families she serves is her greatest priority. You will not find something known as “12-hour language” in any of her materials, as she charges a flat rate for services and will be there for your family whether it's a 2 hour or 72-hour labor, birth, and recovery time.

• Childbirth Education (Private sessions, with a curriculum that is MBC approved)
While trained and a trainer for placenta encapsulation, she is currently not accepting any placenta encapsulation clients.
