Doulas of Greater St. Louis (DGSL) is a non-profit organization that serves the Greater St. Louis and surrounding areas, as well as parts of the Illinois area. DGSL provides area doulas, regardless of experience or education, with support, fellowship and opportunities for furthering their education and skills. DGSL hosts bi-monthly meetings. DGSL is a premier organization for doulas in the St. Louis area and strives to maintain the highest standards required by national certifying organizations, including DONA INternational, A.L.A.C.E., Brthing From Within, and B.A.B.Y., Inc.

Doulas of Greater St. Louis also provides doula referrals to women in the local area who are interested in doula services. Women can call the Referral Number (314-603-9035) or e-mail findadoula@doulasofgreaterstlouis.com and ask for doulas who work in their area and are given a list of doulas to contact. DGSL also provides a resource list for women and their families depending on their specific needs. All information given to DGSL is confidential.

The membership of Doulas of Greater St. Louis consists of Certified Doulas, Experienced Doulas, and Student Doulas. If you are interested in becoming a member of DGSL you can download our membership form or contact one of our officers for more information.

Doulas of Greater St. Louis officers serve a two year term, and any member of DGSL is eligible to run for any officer position.
